It is genuinely sad that so, so many people are in thrall to wot the Sun says. Last week May was the people's champion, sticking up for them against the evil MPs - now she has to go.
I was in a barber shop yesterday as one of my kids needed a proper haircut & the Sunday Sun or whatever it's called was on the table. And the front page? Mel B had lezzer fling with Geri (or something like that). Technically it's finger on the pulse I suppose.

On the other side, Remainers offer 'Bollock to Brexit'. Not really visionary or inspiring, is it ?

Correct on the first one, but he got May the Prime Minister's job after showing her a Winston Churchill spoon in his garage three years ago. Spooky eh ?

Johnson certainly knows about bottling it. How did that leadership bid go?

Maz has disabled reputation
And he bottled over resigning following his opposition to the Heathrow expansion plan. Chose to fly somewhere else instead…

Puerile, populist drivel perhaps. But very effective, I suspect.

I don’t know. We’re constantly told that all leave voters are salt of the earth no-nonsense flat cap wearing Northerners. In which case the only response can be a massive collective:

“What the hell are you talking about you posh twat?”

In fact it may even be a small square of common ground between Leavers and Remainers. Our Xmas football match between the trenches if you like.

How perverse that over the last 3 years Brexit has now turned into a government project, unwilling to listen to the people about how best it is managed or which direction we go in. It truly has turned into the political classes taking power away from the people.

All the while 8.3 million working people in the UK are living in poverty.

We are hamstringing ourselves on the domestic stage simply and impoverishing our people, all as a side show to a Tory power struggle and narrow ideological puritanism.

It's embarrassing to be frank.
