If I could give one bit of advice Joe I’d say just try and keep things as amicable as you can with your Mrs for the sake of your kids. It’s inevitable after a 16 year relationship breaking down that things will be said and done over the coming months which will test you to the limit, but try and rise above that if you can and remember the bigger picture. Your kids will probably feel like they’ve been turned upside down and shaken out after this, they need as much stability as you can both give them (even if that means suffering things you wouldn’t normally accept).
