West Indies are a decent side mind and ran England close and would not shock me to be the 4th place qualifier. They to me have a better all round team than South Africa, and Gayle gives them start quality but Shai Hope is the one im keen to see this tournament.

I expect them to rack up serious runs vs Bangladesh at Taunton. Will depend how they play the swinging ball Old Trafford v Ind and NZ later in the tournament after back to back friendlies at Ageas, normally a good track.

Interesting one for the West Indies, it is realistically Gayle's last chance to impress on the International World Stage, they have some serious talent in that line up with bat and ball. But, you cannot help that the likes of Aus./England/India are going to be stronger. The likes of the Kiwis and South Africa may even fancy their chances, tough to call for that final semi-final spot.

Don't think we could take too much for today though Pakistan look absolutely awful.

What are New Zealand like the days? Always quite liked watching them as an ODI / T20 team. Can't say I have kept an eye on them of late though.

Personally i feel they are a better team now than they were 2015 runners up, however the McCullum ex factor is a big blow.

Their bowling unit now is better i feel with 4 decent quicks in Boult, Southee, Ferguson and Henry plus Sodhi and Santner are good players. (previously had Miles, Milne, Vettori, Nathan McCullum).

Batting wise, Williamson they will rely on but Guptill, Munro, Latham and if Taylor has any juice in them means they have a good side. Neesham and De Grondhomme also are very capable players. The only issue is now that even though perhaps they have improve, as have some other teams. England are most definitely a better side, as are India whilst the Aussies are probably as good. Windies have improved too.

Id expect them to be the 4th team, but think it is a tight run thing out of them and Windies, with possibly either the weather or the head to head being the decider

Hetmeyer could be interesting too, as already stated WI have a few decent prospects beginning to come through..... Lordy the Caribbean needs to get back to having a decent cricket team

See Langer has said that people should show respect to Smith and Warner as they made a mistake and paid a big price for it...what a knob, they didn't show anyone respect when they cheated so why should anyone pay them respect and does he really think their punishment was long enough...if anything he has now set them up to get more grief from crowds

Langer has history regards 'cheating' not so long ago in Sri Lanka. No use paying attention to him. Poor chap trying to have English crowds sympathize with cheats ... nah

Their bowlers have been very decent at county level as the overseas stars. They will be competitive.

Took me an hour and a half to get into Trent Bridge today. Chaos. 500 people in front of me whose tickets also hadn't turned up and box office didn't have a clue. So missed more than half the match....
