Absolute bollocks. Yannick & Wilf barely got a kick as Pardew decided to use tactics which nullified them. For someone who is worse at setting up a defence than the French military, it really was quite something that he decided to go defensive in a cup final.

The man is a prat - Clattenburg wasn't at fault for us being unable to see out 13 minutes & then fail to beat a team with 10 men in extra time.

No replacing Cabaye with Puncheon was because from that moment on Rooney ran the game. Puncheon never got near him.

Rooney ran the game anyway. Man utd had several good chances way before that they just happened to take one later on.

He was far from in Cabayes pocket but he had kept him much quieter. Once Cabaye went off Rooney was pretty much free to do what he wanted and he did just drifted past the non-existent challenge from Puncheon and then he was in full flights and couldn't be touched for the equaliser.

I think if fit he will be ideal to bring on for the last half hour when closing out games.
Agree and Dann. BFS said both played with injuries.

& still behind Luka, Ruben, Cabaye & a FDB appointed Capt Puncheon in pecking order. Let's get cynical - what better way to audition for a transfer, just before the window closes by scoring two goals?
