It sounds like they're the bastard son of the two who has now become the wayward child everyone expected.

I'm a tad concerned about Norwegian Airlines. I hope they survive because I like them and I've just booked for my daughter to go out to Florida on them.

It's a brutal business though.

First step would be to make paking free. It’s like an extra tax for the effort of trying to buy locally.

Come to West Oxfordshire where parking is free in our public car parks. Vibrant town centres.

There must be a lot of flights with no passengers to balance out all the flights I use with well over 100 passengers and indeed far more on the A380 flights.

I had to look that one up and its just Flybmi at 18 per flight. Still a bit poor even for the 37/50 seat ERJ-135/145 planes that they fly.

"Burslem town centre in Stoke-on-Trent has lost all its free cash machines after a number of major banks closed on the high street.

Twenty-four thousand residents are now forced to choose between paying 95p or driving a mile to the nearest one." (BBCwebsite)

I've been to a High Street shop who wouldn't take a card transaction under £5, because of bank charges.
So a shift in banking is also a major driver in High Street decline, actively overseen by successive failing (in terms of High St) governments.

Perhaps off-shore retailers should ensure they are paying UK tax ? another government failing.

still. I get all my shopping done in 30 minutes, at half the price,...so what do I care that my High Streets are increasingly populated by boarded-up shops ?

Banks are starting to offer shops free cash bank to help them out. Works out well for both parties.
