Well the 4th Round draw was Monday the 7th January and by the Friday the TV fixtures had been announced. So sometime this week or next I would imagine?

I imagine it'll be on tv given the last round had 6 live ties and it'll be a prem side away to a lower division side

2 fixtures not involving prem teams in
Millwall v AFC
Swansea v Barnet or Brentford

Friday night
Saturday lunch
Saturday evening
Saturady night
Sunday afternoon
Sunday evening
Monday night

Last year, 5 5th round ties were selected for TV; Friday night, Monday night, Sunday main game and Saturday lunch & tea-time. Of those, and assuming that Chelsea/Man U will be the prime Sundaygame, then Saturday lunch is probably the least worse of the rest.

Three of those would prove challenging (Fri/Mon and Sunday evening).

If Penstone lives near B&ightn's ground it's a fair old trek for a 12.30 game but not impossible.

should the game be Friday or Monday night then it appears there is only 1 train back to London at 22.44 which arrives KX after 1am.

Well if you can't work out why a 12.30 KO with people probably wanting to get there in good time might be a tad difficult for some the you're obviously as clueless as TV companies.

Or of course you live a lot closer than most Palace fans maybe.

It's doable but not very helpful IF that's when it's played.

Fair enough, but it is still just an hour and a half from Kings cross. Could be a lot worse

Well down this neck of the woods can get as far as Lewes before replacement bus service, this is the half term week i think when loads of disruption on the brighton/ Eastbourne to London lines so not the ideal start to a long trip to sunny Donny.

Yes, luckily you can set your watch by the fluidity and general congestion free nature of the motorway system.

Wimbledon are at home to Millwall. I think it may appeal as a TV game? Will there really be 6 ties televised again on those days? Friday or Monday night is grim.

FA site states games played Fri-Sun. As mentioned above, 5 live games last season.

No guarantees but ....

Any idea when tickets will go on sale? How easy do we expect it to be to get tickets?

Do you live in KX?

If not, add on the time to get there; alternatively the driving time on our oh-so-empty motorways.
