I've often wondered why, when Warnock took over at QPR in 2010, and was building a squad with the sole aim of getting to the premier league, why did he sign #Hillsborough Hero Leon Clarke? As the great man said at the time ""Some people will be surprised by this signing". Yes, Neil. I was then but am somewhat less surprised now.

Just to make sure we've got the chronology right, Puncheon's comments were in response to Warnock's criticism of him for launching his penalty into orbit at White Hart Lane halfway through the 2013/14 season, i.e. a good 7-8 months before Warnock returned as our manager. So inaccurate to say that Puncheon 'ended up playing for him' again, he was already at the club and had no choice in the matter.

I am sure i watched one of them Tubes Youtube vidoes where he plays golf with footballers and one player on there virtually said the same thing that if he played you was expected to help him out.

Can't remember who it was now, but an ex-West Ham player said Redknapp would be at that all the time as regards bringing on a sub in order for his appearance bonus to kick in.
It happens in all walks of life. I remember foremen who would book workers in when they missed a day. When they got their full cheque they were expected to kick back a few quid. Everyone was a winner, except for the poor buggers who had to work harder that day to make up for the dead man who was marked present.
