Anyone who says Jedinak's passing is good is a liar. However, he is a better player than KG at the end of the day.

Strange?

Par for the course in recent seasons more like.

sebifcn is playing for a contract
Hi,I am from Germany and I am a supporter of the FC Nürnberg.
So I want to ask you some things about KG:
Is he playing better as a couple or alone in the DM?
what about his fitness?
Is he rather a runner or comes he through positional play?
How are his passes? Are they good?
Is he safe in the passing game (and otherwise)?
Can he often fall into the IV to stuff a hole?
Is he more of a "leader" or a "Stinker" or neither?
How were the teammates and the environment at the club to him?

PS:Sorry for my bad english

Yep. I also don't think KG's passing is anywhere near as bad is gets made out on here. His use of the ball is often quite tidy.

Only much closer to it.

I like KG and have always been a fan, but Bridcutt is undoubtedly better.

Also the way KG put on weight at the end of the 11/12 and after Christmas last season was unacceptable.

Having said all that there is no way we should be paying £3m+ for a player where we have loads of options and other positions need improving more.

You can't really make that judgement call until Bridcutt's played in the Premier League.

I have to admit that despite initial reservations, KG has quite comfortably made the step up to this level and remains a consistent performer for us. That's not to say he's irreplaceable - I think a Jedinak/Guedioura axis is an intriguing, and potentially exciting one.

We're well stocked for central midfielders at present.

Problem for me with KG is his lack of discipline with weight on occasion. At his best a decent player but he is not consistent and we could do with an upgrade who is consistently prem class not 1 out of 3.

I'm interested to see how KG & Jedi fare in Pulis' 4-4-2 until the transfer window.

We've had some good results so far but I'm weary of a big gap between those two and our forwards. Assuming it is KG who will be entrusted by TP to try and be more creative centrally, how well he takes to that role probably dictates whether he stays.

No of course not but recent history shows that those who do well in the Championship go on to do so in the Prem.

Bridcutt was undoubtedly one of the best players in the Championship last season. Its why us and other Premier league clubs bid for him.

Moxey didnt exactly do that well in the Championship and people think hes Premiership quality because hes had one or two good games this season.

The thing is, if we carry on picking up points and getting ourselves out of trouble, does the argument of a lack of quality become an empty statement. KG is one of those players that both confirms and also denies our lack of quality tag. He will either be lauded if we stay up, or proof as to why we got relegated.

I loved the outside of the boot pass for Zahas 2nd goal in the playoff second leg. In slowmo KG shows great balance and precision for a supposedly big guy. Like many have said, his value is measured more when he's absent, a good player for us.

Just because a "source" claims no talks are going on it doesn't mean they aren't - doesn't even mean there is a source! Iain Moody is probably a little busy with the window coming up. A quiet word that they'll talk after the window could be all that's needed. I doubt they would simply let things drift, too organised now.

Good post.

He'll certainly be critised and blamed if we go down. That's the role he plays to many fans - scapegoat.

He seems to play well when we do but guess that's a case of us winning the midfield battle.

You have no proof that this is true.

Plenty of players look good in that league for a club, get their big move and look shite.

When KG is fit and in form he's a Premier league player. When he went off to Africa last season we missed him.

When he came back he was overweight and miles off form.

When KG is fit and on form hes very good, when hes off form or overweight hes poor.

Bridcutt, was consistently good last season, won player of the year for a club that finished above us. Hence the reason several Premier League clubs including ourselves have made multi million £ offers for him over the past year or so.

To me he seems to be a player that is a jack of all trades but master of none. Can he tackle like Jedi? Dribble like Bolasie? Pass like Bannon? Shoot like Murrey? You have to say no. He is OK but that is really not enough at a PL club.

A bit like Tom Soares or Michele Leigerwood. Perhaps I am being unfair. I will make a note to watch him more carefully next time.
