KG is immense for us. Can't believe he is criticized all the time! It's no coincidence that he is picked by every manager we've had for the last few years. Dougie, Holloway, Millen and Pulis all rate him. Yes, he has some games that he doesn't play as well, but with Jedi it's a formidable partnership at times! When was the last time he was a sub? Or subbed for that matter? I'm sure he's played most minutes of every game he's played.

He was subbed off early against Chelsea and O'Keefe came on and played superbly, ditto the play off final.

We do seem to have a better balance when he plays but he's really not that good a player, O'Keefe and Guedioura are better players.

but look at the results when he doesn't play, its not all about who shows more...

You have just mentioned the game when he seemingly got injured to be fair to him.

O'Keefe deserves his chance if he's given it - we looked like a team with a full back playing centre-mid today - and I don't have a problem with that, but people target KG unfairly, our win percentage must be higher when he plays than when he doesn't. As I have seen others say on here, O'Keefe seems to play much better when he comes on as opposed to when he starts..

Sky Sports understands Crystal Palace face a battle to hang on to midfielder Kagisho Dikgacoi.

The South Africa international has shone in the Eagles' midfield this season alongside Mile Jedinak.

But Dikgacoi is out of contract in the summer and has already been approached by a number of clubs from the continent with interest emerging from Germany, France and Spain.

However, there is also strong interest emerging from the Premier League too.

Newly-promoted Leicester are understood to be keen, whilst Newcastle, Hull City, Stoke and West Brom are all believed to be keeping close tabs on him.

Palace look set to offer the former Fulham player a new long-term deal, but they may struggle to match offers from elsewhere.

Agent talk. Can't say I'll be too fussed if he leaves, would be a good squad player next season though.

I'm sure TP's pre-season would get KG in shape (literally)
A fully fit and firing KG is a great player, anything less and he is woeful.

This total rubbish. We are a club now establishing itself in the Premiership. We don't need to sell, unless it suits us. Why on earth would we want to sell a key player to Leicester, of all clubs, it doesn't make any sense.

We are now in an ascendent scenario where we call the shots. When we want to sell a player, we shall do it in our own time and for the right reasons, and in the best interest of the club, not because we are desperate, or in need the cash.

That's is incorrect. O'Keefe almost gifted Torres a goal, only the fact that Torres is totally void of confidence that Chelsea didn't equalize. Also gave the ball away out wide in our own half when all he needed to do was pass it up field. I like Okeefe, but don't the distort the facts to cover up a poor performance.

Agree with this, especially the promoted teams.

He is big, physical and on his day is a great engine for the team.

I would imagine TP might look at an upgrade if we stay up though.

I would hope we can replace two of those with better options if we stay up to be honest.

I got gunned down just before the Newcastle game for saying KG's a very good player and I still stand by that. I think recently he's silenced his critics very well. He does a lot of work 70% of your usual Football fan doesn't see, like his screening and protection of the back four off the ball.

I assume his agent is looking for the best deal possible. I would be gutted to see him go, however I would fully expect us to be able to sign someone just as good if not better in the same role he does. That being said I expect him to sign a new deal.
