It's a nice set of tricks etc but it kind of brings home how we need mobile forwards up there with him to take advantage of those passes. There has been very little mobility offered by the front players who rarely look to run onto a pass, instead wanting it to their feet. It again begs the question of quite where Benteke fits into this or perhaps a better question is, do we have the right alternate to Benteke?

That video. Oh my, what a player. Unbelievable the price we got him for.

Wow. Skillful, direct, but what impressed me most was his decision making in the final third. So many composed passes when teammates are in space. Amazing for someone his age. Great set pieces as well. I can see why some are tipping him to be better than Wilf/Eze. He already looks the part.

Benteke does appear to be ill fitting for Vieraís Palace

We desperately need a quick and mobile CF.

So, no surgery and it's just going to sort itself out presumably with lots of physio?

No idea, but the initial rumours of a minor stress fracture, which if it were the case is the sort of injury that keeps fast bowlers out for 2-3 months.

Sounds like he's not too far away if he's going to be assessed ahead Chelsea according to the Telegraph:

Palace's Olise injury doubt for new campaign

Crystal Palace's new signing Michael Olise is a doubt for the start of the season with a back injury.

The £8m signing from Reading, 19, will be assessed ahead of Palace’s opener in the Premier League against Chelsea in less than a fortnight.

I hope we dont rush him back but thats good to see if right. On the bench for brentford? That'd be a pretty good boost

Didn't he do that before the end of the season? So 2-3 months may already be up.

Also he can probably at least field at long leg, and maybe bat down the order.

Whoscored rates crossing as one of Olise's strongest attributes, and I'm fairly sure he put in more crosses than any player in the Championship last season (though can't remember where I got that from).

Mitchell put some good crosses in on the occasions he got forward last season.

Benteke will be fine.

So we could be batting on a sticky wicket for a while then?

But presumably he hasn't done any sort of pre-season so lacking fitness.

Difficult to know. He was reported subbed off with a shoulder injury late in the season, but then played until the last game of the season, subbed at 77 minutes after a goal and an assist. That was 8th May.

Telegraph article states his fitness will be assessed ahead of Chelsea game so maybe he will be back sooner then we think.

I expect that was paper talk. If he is not involved against Watford he won't be needing assessment for the Chelsea game.
