Would make Benteke the most creative player in history

Luke averages 1.4 per 90, McArthur 1.2, Wilf is 1 per 90 minutes, Ayew 0.8.

Benteke is 2.2 per 90 minutes. Not sure first half second half is as critical as the position in the game. Benteke does cause issues in the final 3rd, as well as clearances in our own box.

Disgraceful comments from Clattenburg. He would have hated being a ref in the VAR age - how would he have got away with his big club bias? Pathetic worm.

Shame that the media is all over a crisis at Arse and not much if anything is being mentioned about Palace's comeback from 2 down in 10 minutes. We habe VAR to fix the ref bias , we just need something to counteract the media bias.

McArthur motm was everywhere.

Thought we never actually got going but a good result.

Funny thing is i saw the line ups before the match and actually thought there really is little difference between us and Arsenal now player for player. Other than their two main strikers and ours (who are miles apart) the rest of the teams are pretty much even if you ask me.

Just watched highlights at work with no sound as hadnt seen the decisions properly. Clearly a pen on Wilf. While i agree there isnt contact... whats he suppose to do jump over the leg? its the same reason why the Grealish one against us was a foul too imo (Grealish just went down more theatrically).

The Arsenal goal, what was it disallowed for? i genuinely couldnt tell without the commentary.

Either way well played VAR on that one

Quite (excpet that there clearly IS contact). It's exactly the same as the pen conceded by Xhaka on Wilf last year at Selhurst. Poor defending, plants a leg away from his body & all Wilf has to do is run into it.

Definite penalty, regardless of how much contact. Wilf nips the ball past him and he then extends his leg across the path wilf is taking. You can't do that in any era of football. Wilf is not obliged to hurdle or run around him. Terrible defending.

Grealish spoiled it for himself by deliberately trying to con the ref twice during his run into the penalty area. It wasn't shown on television replays but there was a clip going around that showed an extended view from one of the cameras that demonstrated very clearly that he had been using contact tricks during that dribble. I believe that is a big contributory factor to why the referee stopped play.

Any defender that gets caught square on with Wilf, is fukked. Itís bad defending to be caught out like that in the first place

Even with the sound I think we were very lucky to get that goal cancelled. So much going on in the box, no matter what, it was not a clear and obvious mistake by the ref, so the goal should have stood.

I think there was a better case for having their first goal disallowed for a foul on Tomkins.

MoM I went for Hennessey.

Yes, a mistake for the first, but better defending from Cahill and PVA and he would have got away with it. He then made three crucial saves to stop them scoring a third.

Yep, camera from behind shows knee to knee, from which Wilf sort of rolls over the outstretched leg
