The problem is Wilf would probably follow if he saw AWB get a move to a top 6 club.

David Ornstein said in his BBC piece on the big club transfers than AWB was on United’s radar, and Man City’s as well.

If you were Wan-Bissaka would you go to Man U ? Particularly as his agent is Herve Zaha, Wilf's brother who is acting for Will Salthouse who is also Wilf's agent. The uncertainty over Solskjaer , their end to the season, doesn't really make it a good grounding for a 21 year who has completed less than 50 premiership games. My bet is he would find Manchester, and in particular United, exactly as Wilf did.

Im not even sure OGS will make it to the summer, half thinking they might pay the bailout for the mistake and do what they obviously should have done (Poch)

It would be the sensible thing for them to do. Sometimes you’ve just got to cut and run. See frank de boer. I think they’ll be too embarrassed to do that and will give him a chance. Ole at the wheel and all that shite.

Can see him going to City and really flourishing under Pep - assuming Pep stays a couple more years.

Problem Palace have are we have 3 or 4 very good players who could play their trade in top 6 clubs - Wilf, AWB, Luka, Sakho - so do we hold on to these players and hope, or trade early in summer with players lined up to replace?

With the new stand needing funding too selling Zaha and AWB could bring in £120m ... £80 for new players and £40 towards the cost of the stand.

Trouble is, if you receive £120m in transfers- you will then be quoted extortionate amounts for players you want to buy, so really £80 million wont go as far as it sounds.

So we do what ever other sensible club does. We buy replacements first rather than wait until the usual end of August rush

Fully agree. Recent results have been utterly woeful for them. And with Poch making noises about leaving Spurs (may think he can never beat a Champions league final there) they could make a move.

If OGS does get the boot who will be the next poor sucker to be the victim of player power?
They really need an arse kicker not a technician for the next manager, hope they get a tactician.

I think Poch is the best move they could make, provided they can be realistic and accept they are in the shit and this is now like a 3-5 year project at least to get remotely back to where they want to be

Poch given time is proven to incrementally and consistently progress a team, and even get a decent season when getting completely screwed in transfer windows
