St John is still fantastic, eaten at Farringdon and Spitalfields. Best cooked honest food with a few quirky things thrown in.

Hawksmoor comes a close 2nd, best steak I have eaten in the UK and nearly matched Sparks in NY but the authenticity of Sparks and the fact the steak was massive and still unbelievablely tender just pipped it.

Went to a small wedding at Le Manoir last year. Definitely one of the best meals I've ever eaten, and the boss man even checked in to say hello.

Archipelago in Whitfield Street yesterday.

Fascinating. Menu includes: African crocodile bites; spiced Australian kangaroo fillet; and springbok "Ropa Vieja".

As well as "Love bug salad" which is pan fried locusts & crickets in chilli & garli.

Azzurro London Bridge. Amazing. And Bodeans in Clapham is the best American grill I've been in.

Robuchon used to be one of my favourites, but I am not so sure it is as good as it was.

Always eat upstairs.
