So I assume the US is the only country in the world where the women’s team brings in more money than the men. This talks about tv revenue, but women’s team football kits also generate way more sales. They definitely should get equal pay. |

Scottish manager regrets reducing some her players to tears. In true Scottish style, she basically got pissed up and ripped into them.

Woman's football needs 'bad news stories' before anyone will give a shit. The current narrative is: 'look how good they are' or 'the first weekend will have record attendances' all promoting an euphoric world of praise.
Marginal pleasant news doesnt provoke any reaction, not until there is some controversy or drama within the league, will it be relevant as it will have matured. It seems like an infant that is being nurtured and loved at the moment. You need rivalries and ongoing issues. It will come in time I guess, but not until the reporting is changed. |

What I like, The two recent friendlies have been on the beeb, keeping the momentum going
What I don't like, there's been a wee bit of stagnation in both games, a bit of a hangover What I hate, the franchise style set up, teams in on reputation rather than merit
