Just googled it and I can't believe he got on. If Cardiff sent them to pick me up after an £18m transfer I'd tell them to go f*ck themselves. There are reasons why twin engines are safer....

I know didley squat about planes and maybe this is something out of the movies, but if a small plane like that was going down (and you knew it), could you not jump out (like parachuting) when you approach water? Not to say you would still survive, but surely it would give you half a chance.

Survival time for water that cold wouldn't be more than a few hours. Given the plane took off at 7.15pm there isn't much hope of anyone being rescued alive.
