Frank de Boer appointed manager of Atlanta United
With manager Tata Martino departing the team to manage Mexico, Atlanta United was in need of a new manager. And to fill that vacancy, they scoured the Earth to find the best man for the job and found, Frank de Boer.

Probably the right level for him - ie somewhere he can get away with being an arrogant twerp without a great deal of managerial nouse on the basis he used to be a world class footballer.

I wish him well too. It's very much his last chance after his last two jobs totaled about 5 months.

I'm sure he'll be embarrassing his players in his first training session scoring free kicks from 40 yards out

No hard feelings and good luck to him will be interesting to see how well he does....
Just think he needs to add more experience before he can manage a Premier League Club. Fair play to him for dropping down a level and getting back in the game. Hopefully he learns from his mistakes at Palace and improves on his man management. Last edited by SussexRed&Blue; 23-12-2018 at 11:49 PM. |

That's the sort of vitriol that Liverpool fans have about Roy Hodgson. He was given a brief that was probably impossible to achieve and sacked after four games. Why the hatred?
