EPL wagebill and a odd fanbase was only going to equal one thing.
This is the same fans who hounded Pulis out for the “style of play” and ended up with Pardew. |

blimey! I work with a couple of baggies fans and they seem very happy with the football that's been played this season. Said it was so much better than under Pulis and they were actually enjoying the Championship. They're comfortably in a play-off place. Seems very odd to sack him.

it's all been downhill since they let Sako leave.

Harsh. Get the feeling that they felt compelled to appoint him (media pressure) and couldn't wait to get rid. Think he has been really hard done by.

Bit weird. That’s a squad that should be winning the championship, and I suppose that’s looking unlikely now, but 4th at this stage isn’t awful. Have they been on a bad run or something?

Still ridiculous though. Given they're in the play off zone and look set to remain there. Harsh decision. |

Was going to say this, wouldn't mind him working with Roy and then taking over long term

Crazy decision , but in the crazy world of football management give it a couple of weeks and he could rock up as the new manager of Real Madrid .

What a joke, he's done a really decent job. WBA were a mess after Pards left.

He was a hero at the end of last season when few a few weeks he nearly looked like pulling off a near impossible escape !! So fickle

Why what has he done to get a top job

Won only 4 of the last 12 with a squad that will be losing the club millions. Their expectation was promotion and they are looming playoffs at best.

Just my personal opinion that he is a good manager, who would benefit from working with Roy for a bit
Plus it isn't a top job..it's palace |

Young English managers have little chance.
I wonder if they want to appoint a German before the end of the month? Last edited by dim; 09-03-2019 at 11:02 PM. |
