8 million max , Brentford have a value on all their players and often clubs over bid . Hector at Sheffield Wed , can carry the ball out very well . Especially if we wanted to play 3 at the back as another formation

Maupay will not suit us , and if we are going for a poacher than Billie Sharp is the one from the championship and would be relatively cheap

As for Billy Sharp, yes he is one of the best goal poachers in the lower divisions but is in the twilight of his career, also by going back "home" has brought the best out of him so he wont be going anywhere soon. |

In fairness to him Darzet since moving to Millwall he has added a lot more to his game in the past Two seasons and is now probably able to step up and adapt easier to this level.
What i will say, if Sakho was to move on in the summer which is a possibility then a Central pairing of Tomkins and Kouyate may well be worth trying, and the back up's could be Cooper, Kelly, Dann and Wood then re-access in January. |

Nixon is pretty reliable isn't he? Would be happy with Konsa and Butland. But it sounds like we have to sell in order to buy when it comes to the latter. (For me he'd be superb, and we could make a hefty profit on Guaita who is older and now proven in the Premier League, but I know others feel differently following on from Butland's form this season.)

Brentford are financially well backed, they wont let any one go unless its good money and certainly wont be offloading players. Owner wants promotion asap and premier league football at their new ground

This type of signing is exciting. I know we’re not world beaters, and while we have some talented players on our books, a lot of them have had the misfit tag applied to them. It’s rare that we have picked up a player who has previously been on the rise.

Owner was on tv a short while ago , explaining his business model which involves looking at stats of young players he can sell on. Each player has a valuation at which he would sell. He explained how he was offered Over the odds by a few million( 4 I think ) for the defender that bournmouth brought recently. The money will fund the new ground and infrascture.

Assuming we have to persevere with Benteke as our main striker next season, and in fairness to him if he can recapture his goalscoring then his style of centre forward play is the best we can hope to have. However what we also need next season is ANOTHER striker that helps add to our goal tally, but that player needs to be able to complement the forward line and played in a position to do so, hence why if Maupay ideally is played behind CB then we could see Both playing to their strengths. As we know Benteke(and assumming) if at his best and with his confidence restored, can be one of the best around at screening but also winning the ball in the air making him the ideal foil for a goalscorer playing in the "hole" in a 4-4-1-1. Which is where i see someone like Maupay or a Similar player to him playing, and it is what we need to make us a greater goal threat next season. |

What i am looking at Riley is where our priorities for next season should be, we have to assume that Tomkins and Sakho will be our starters and that would be wonderful (but that could change) however one thing is for sure is our need and priority is for goalscorers, hence why i think if the fee quoted of 15m for this basically unknown CB can be better used as a priority on a striker.
I have mentioned Cooper(Millwall) many times before as he has impressed me and is a big strong and deceptively quick CB and would make a better squad man and at reportedly available at £3m is exceptional value. But as we know this is all about hearsay and personal opinions. |
