Tragic news. Life really can be awful. So sad for his wife and kids.

Darren Pitcher was the same age when he passed away last November wasn't he? so desperately sad, 49 is no age. Thoughts are with your family, friends and all at Leyton Orient during this extremely difficult time.

Very sad news. To have triumphed with Orient and not to be able to see the fruits is doubly sad. RIP and condolences to his family.

It was widely reported that he had fallen ill suddenly and the lack of news or details of the illness were not a good sign. 😔

The news blackout was a sign though fair enough for those close to him
Say him in the bar at palace a few years ago in great form and willing to speak to all around him. Did a magnificent job at Leyton orient but a vey stressful season. If one good thing can came from this awful event let us stop shouting and tweeting vile abuse because a boss has lost a game or two. though when you see the sub morons in Portugal that seems a distant dream. |

Very sad, just goes to show that don’t sweat the small stuff and tell the people you love you love them everyday.

It's actually crazy and sad how many ex pros seem to have heart attacks or worse die at what we would consider to be a premature age. Les Sealey was only 43 when he died.

Incredibly hard to take in this news. I was following the results of the National League teams over the season and saw several games televised live, Justin Edinburgh was doing an outstanding job in charge of Orient, just as he had done previously with Newport - to see him look so focused and assured only a few short weeks ago, especially with Orient’s promotion back into the Football League and then learn that the man has died so suddenly is quite staggering.
I think most Palace fans, especially like me who saw Palace play Orient in the 1970’s, one of the most likeable of all London clubs and condolences to their fans, who must be stunned at this moment, as of course will Justin’s family and friends, RIP.

Very sad news. He was doing such a good job at Orient (always had a soft spot for them) and seemed a perfect fit. A touching tribute from Jobi too.
