I can't decide between the original or Neko Case's cover of Christmas Card from a Hooker in Minneapolis, both are great. In the end I have to go for the live version by Tom Waits.
How can you not love a Christmas song that starts off "Charlie I'm pregnant and living on 9th Street, Right above a dirty bookstore off Euclid Avenue, I stopped takin dope and I quit drinking whiskey, my old man plays the trombone and works out at the track"
