A month or two ago she made a comment about how the corona break benefited Leeds in their promotion season, because Bielsa teams stereotypically fall off towards the end of a campaign, due to their absurd work rate.

Many Leeds fans took exception to this, including whoever controls the Leeds twitter account. There was some rational debate, fans posting stats and facts which arguably proved her wrong, but also swarms of horrid misogyny, and personal abuse towards Carney.

And let us be fair...didn't many of us on here suggest the same during the restart.

If you took the only available evidence as what had happened the season before, then there is a good case to be had. Brentford blowing up and WBA nearly doing so, also helped.

I suspect fans of many clubs will get tribal over imagined (or otherwise) slurs. We would, and we have some twats that would abuse in that fashion online. Not as many, but they exist.

Do you mean Vicky Sparks on BBC Radio Five Live? I was thinking of posting something on this ... I like her style of commentary, but I really don't like her voice. When she says 'one', it sounds like 'wan'.

Chris Kamara - does he have some health problems ? Noticed last few weeks on Gillette SS, his speech is very slurred and hesitant. I know he’s always been a bit like that, but it’s pretty bad now.

When you look at the football fixtures on the BBC as I have done just now and seen that Women’s International fixtures are not just listed with the men’s fixtures but are also BEFORE the actual Premier League fixtures, you have to ask yourself wtf is going on in the world. In no way do I condone abuse though, fairly obviously.

It's been going on for a while on the BBC website. Whoever edits the Scores & Fixtures page wants to inform us (in their mind) of which fixtures are more important than others.
Sorting by Gender-Nation-Division etc just won't cut it for them.
