Get Townsend on the left to provide ammo into the box and protection for Mitchell which he doesn't get from Eze. Eze pushed far further forward as far away from the defence as possible and to support Mateta.

Jairo and Luka does not work, Roy clearly favours Luka and it depends if Fulham press, if they do then Jairo Luka isn't going to work, especially if they have 5 across the midfield.

Swap Luka for Jairo and I would go with that. At home to Fulham we need to be on the front foot and Eze can play further forward in the 10 to support the striker. Set up how started against Wolves.

Sorry I am going to need a lot more evidence from you to suggest he is finished as his stats this season stack up pretty well in a side so devoid of attacking intent.

I thought he was the better of the 2 strikers last night and has had quite a few good games this season.

Is there an “expected get on the end of crosses and show some movement” stat? Benteke would score poorly in that, I’m afraid. It’s his biggest problem this season (whereas in past years it would have been a combination of that, and poor finishing).

He has had "quite a few good games" but that's in comparison to absolutely no competent striker competiting for his place, it's like saying that your prison food was quite good one day compared to the last.

He is mostly useless and I'm fed up of people making allowances for him based on these very few moments he decides to warrant his 90k a week cost.

While he may have some good games, he largely has been completely ineffective in games, where he jogs around like a tepid sunflower, being blown around with no physical strength or energy.

Bumbling Buffoon Benteke has been the quintessential manifestation of our lack of recruitment strategy since being promoted. I can't wait for him to leave, will be a very very good day for Palace to be rid of him and his utterly underwhelming contribution.

And would also put us right back in the shit considering our run in. It’s a must not lose, don’t mind a draw and Brighton can go to West Brom and lose which will close the gap. We still need 4 or 5 points and on paper this is one we need to be targeting points.

Agreed, a win and we go 13 points clear of Fulham with 12 games left. For a long time I have been thinking that 35 points would be enough this season but, I am now not so sure.

I think Wilf might be back but not sure if he'll start. No changes for me and barring any injuries I'd expect the same lineup.
