The pedant in me wants to say that by the time postcodes were introduced to Croydon in 67 it had been a London borough for a couple of years, so technically not outside of London... But I'm fighting it

yep white british make up less then 50% of the population in one of their own boroughs. Or to put it another way, the ethnic 'minorities' in the area are now no longer the minority at all overall. Such is the effect of "diversity".
