No taller .... its way shorter at the back on the road ...... Why would we not be able to match the houses for height?
it's single storey maybe single and a half by the away end, we certainly could go up a bit to match rooflines.

Not really followed developments on new stand if honest . Was the target to start December this year ? . Also from what I saw on presentation - it looked huge compared to rest of the ground !

On the questions of Sainsbury's I make you right. On the Wooderson close property it is an odd one. all the houses owned by the housing association are sorted out and are happy with what they have been offered. however one property is in private ownership. It has been mentioned on here before but never said officially that the owner of the property cannot be found. The club confirmed this was the issue.

This creates problems. While I would imagine that the club were intending to make him a very good offer for his property that he would be foolish to turn down and therefore it could be sorted relatively easily, if he cannot be found that cannot be done. The only alternative would be a compulsory purchase by the council. That is a very long winded and much more expensive process and may also be difficult if he cannot be found (although not impossible)

General planning permission in residential areas is that you shouldn't go noticeably higher than whats already existing if you were redeveloping same (more houses) but planning is a dark art. Might get a bit more leeway on height for a stand.

Anyway all those Park Road houses may just burn down one night - not unknown

Parish and his PR machine.

News is coming soon. It'll probably be we haven't forgotten about this, still in talks with several parties, still hope to start at the end of the season blah blah blah.

Believe it when I see it.

One stand and ugly .... Won't change my AW matchdays much other than taking the Sun out of my eyes ... Admittedly a plus.

Any announcement would surely only be about the Section 106 anyway. And even if that was close to being signed, there would still be months and months of speccing out the whole scheme and going to tender before anything concrete could happen

I've forgotten about this - if it happens then great but I expect it will be very delayed if it happens at all. It's surprising how difficult it's proving to be and we seem to be unlucky with circumstances.

Should be the first stand we develop as its the one most in need of development. It can certainly go a lot higher than it does currently.

Problem is, you can't re-develop it without a big loss in capacity whilst the work is happening. Where will be shove the E400 then?

Incredible isn't it. First we are held up because people are in the way, now once they are out of the way we have one that we want to be in the way because being not in the way they are holding us up.
