Bagpuss....
Please can someone tell me the words of the mouse song in the episode on the chocolate buscuit factory. I have the tune going round in my head but no words - AAAAAARGH!
Incidentally, love that baggy old cloth cat - do we remember this or you guys all too old for that!? How about finger mouse? How about larry the "minty" lamb??? (Anyone who mentions Mr Ben should talk to JJ as I believe he's the resident expert on that one!!!) |

Is this what you're after?
Ploughman, ploughman, plough me a field Turn me an acre of land Ploughman, ploughman, harrow the ground Drill in the seed and roll it down For the year will turn and the spring come round And the seed will grow Shine the sun And rain the rain Fall the shivery snow Frost and hail and wind again As the year will go Farmer, Farmer, the field is ripe Tall and straight they stand Farmer, farmer, it's time to reap Time to combine, the corn to keep The straw will blow and the chaff will leap And the grain will fall Shine the sun And rain the rain Fall the shivery snow Fog and sleet and hail again As the year will go Miller, miller, take up the grain Pour it out like sand Miller, miller, open the rill To turn the wheel and work the mill Grind the grain to flour and fill The sacks below. Shine the sun And rain the rain Fall the shivery snow Hail and wind and sleet again As the year will go. Baker, baker, the flour is here Soft and fine and bland Baker, baker, get out of bed Put that silly old hat on your head Bake me a loaf of golden bread And then I'll go Blow the wind And rain the rain Fall the shivery snow Soon the sun will shine again As the year will go. |

Don't be so silly, Axie. Larry the Lamb would never appear naked. Someone's pulling the wool over your eyes.
BUT the well known actor Larry (no 'the') Lamb did indeed cavort with the luverley Kate as they slogged their way across the North Sea. He also played a very mean Kenny Noye in a movie based on the Brinks Mat bullion job.... |

I'm sorry Tigger I though t I was on the Gentlemen of a certain age thread.
His middle name might be 'The'. Tim. Have you ever seen them in the same room together ? Last edited by Axie; 26-10-2001 at 09:14 PM. |

Hadn't thought of that, Axie. And to think he was editor of The Sun as well...he introduced Page 3 girls.
Anyway, here's another one for Tigger.. |

I cannot even entertain such images of Larry the "innocent" lamb cavorting around with naked ladies...... he simply wouldn't do such a thing. I love him and support him dispite what you slanderous lot say - I feel a song coming on.....
