You have obviously never tried Australian sausages.

They call them "snags" because the only snag is you are actually expected to put them in your mouth. Either that or it's a shorthand amalgam for stomach and nadgers which is what they taste like.

Great mix of flavours and very high meat content. Worth it if you are a sausage connoisseur !

Since when have sausage connoisseurs demanded "very high meat content"?

Surely by its definition, a great sausage does not have a very high meat content.

I'm not too fussed by kennedys despite growing up on them but my mum/dad used to love them and they really like korkers too - we've all moved quite near Rolvenden (nice enough little village) since then and they're about a lot locally - and I know there is a big nostalgia for kennedys on here. I was never overly taken about them but thought there was a similarity so I'd add my recommendation to those looking for something like them.

I actually picked up a bag of them earlier this evening after reading this thread!

Depends

I generally have chipolata sausages when I do a Saturday fry and 4 is common place.

With chips and beans, egg and chips or a hundred weight of mash and onion gravy then 3 traditional is adequate. Plenty of English mustard 'n all

In my younger days, I'd consider 2 a meal, when I had a 28" waist. Now it has to be 3 even if I've done toad-in-the-hole, the waist line is up to 36".

I wouldn't like to contemplate what will happen if 4 becomes the norm...

6 sausages, proper jobs not fecking chipolatas Worksop, you massive pansy, a pile of mash, and depending on my mood either onion gravy or a can of beans emptied on top. A couple of slices of bread and butter to mop up afterwards.

That works out as less than 10p per sausage. I'd be suspicious of a piece of fruit that was being sold to me for that much.

"You get what you pay for." I don't know whether that's a venerable old Irish expression but I'd keep it in mind when ordering them at that price.

82% PORK

Link to the four products featured on Ocado, in Ireland being stocked by all the main supermarkets including Tesco (but not here). Do a 6 pack there of larger bangers. I liked them!
