SO so chuffed just had to tell someone - and as im alone in my office its you lucky lot!

Just managed to buy 2 tickets to see who i think is properly on the 'legend' level this summer in hyde park.

His only european date ... cant bloody wait!!

He gives it away by singing the line "lately I've been staring in the mirror." Pretty fecking pointless if he is completely blind. If he means vacantly staring in to a redtop newspaper that is even more fecking pointless although I have found myself doing the same after about 90 seconds.

Saw him at Wembley Arena in either 79 or 80... Hotter than July tour. It's amazing he is still going so strong, but you have to remember how young he was when he started out.

Truly one of my favourites, and the consummate performer.

The night we saw him he was an hour and a half late starting because he said his voice wasn't ready.
