They would have to lose the confidence vote. She's spent a lot of your money to ensure that doesn't happen.

He said he wasn't going to resign. Which means he probably will.

It would be interesting to see what happens to Labour's vote if there's another election...

The one thing about this years election is that there are an awful lot of seats that will be too close to call. Especially interesting if Labour do position themselves as an anti-Brexit party.

Boris Bullingdon will have to decide whether his resignation would force May to resign and then whether he would become the leader. He who wields the knife never assumes the crown (or whatever the actual phrase is) a la Heseltine. Sooner or later the hard core Brexiters will destroy her but the Tories would be mad right now to call an election. They'll probably go on a spending frenzy in the hope of winning in 2022 and if they lose leave a scorched earth financial position for MacDonnell's premiership.

I did like the bit today about Jezza speaking to Hector Belleron in Spanish to cut the ghastly toe rag Piers Morgan out of the conversation. Deserves anybody's vote.

Unless something drastic happens in Scotland, if labour went anti-Brexit they'd have no chance of winning the election. All it would do is probably strengthen the seats they already had a strong majority in anyway and lose them a few more marginals.

Plus Labour would be extremely unlikely to go anti Brexit with Corbyn in charge so it's probably a moot point anyway

Indeed. What a shitheel.

Although there is something to be said for allowing politicians to have different beliefs. He did try to say, in a really crap, evasive manner, that he had a personal belief on this issue, but his larger belief in personal liberty overrode it. That just didn't wash, and he ended up lying about it.

So he betrayed himself and his god and lied o the public.
