George Puscas
Just watching the U21 Euros and Romania are currently 1-2 up against Germany in the semi-finals. Their striker with a famous name has just bagged a brace and almost hit a first half hat-trick. He looks brilliant. Top work ethic, good finisher and a beast in the air. The commentators aren't wrong comparing his style to Shearer.

He's just turned 23 and plays for Palermo. Apparently Sheffield United have put in a bid so he'd be well within our reach.

I'd much rather sign someone like this than another journeyman on astronomical wages.

He's playing on Sky Sports Football now if anyone wants to see him in action.

Romania did have some decent players on that England display

He was a stand out, great name aswell

Can i just bump this, he is being linked with a club like Birmingham and its rumoured inter want €10m. For a player who has scored 1/3 pretty much for Palermo, and an international record i think most players would envy, how do our scouts miss these? He lit up the U21 tournament with team mate Hagi (who got a move to Genk) and made England look average when we played Romania.

How much did he cost? I see transfermrkt claims 7m - far too much for us!

We don't seem willing to invest any money at all in our strike force. Even getting Gayle or someone back would improve our options. We refuse to invest in players who score in the Championship.

Instead just put in deadline day bids for deals which never have any chance of happening (is that deliberate?) for the like Chalov and Augustin. Didn't believe for a second that either would happen.

Coached over here too with South Melbourne.I walk past a statue of him most days and if my second team, Melbourne Victory, are playing, I high5 him and it brings good luck!....maybe good luck for Palace if we buy him one day......
