MLB & Fantasy Baseball 2022
I have just noticed that Yahoo have introduced this coming seasons fantasy baseball. Last year Strathclyde Eagle set up a CPFC fans league. I thought the league style worked well and was wondering if anyone had/will set up a similar league this season?

Weird... I did actually set one up, only yesterday as well. My initial thought was to get it set up early so that we could get our pick of date & time for an online draft. However as the online draft test seems to fail on every PC I've ever used (and everyone else's too) I've decided we'll go for an offline draft instead.

I won last years competition with Sharkswithlaserbeams so am hopeful for a repeat with my new team Willy Mays Hayes. Now all I need to do is find out what the hell has been going on in the pre season trades. A non live draft will require a healthy and thought through shortlist.

Last years, Its Still not Cricket team are back under the banner of the Toledo Mud Hens. Hoping for another collapse in the second half of the season.

Well you can rank your players. I normally dont mess with anything and come draft day the league will get you the best player availible when it is your turn. Make any sense?

I think something needs to be set up to allow you to pre rank, I'm in another league and there is an option to do this.

Offline draft this year. No-one could use the online draft last year, and the autopick draft sucks big style. Therefore I chose the offline draft option, and I suggest that we pick a mutually good time to meet up in a chat room (or something) and do a draft there and then.

Sometime in the week commencing Monday 25th March (i.e. as near to the start of the season as possible) ok?

Sorry, forgot all the things I need to explain!

Yahoo! automatically place the managers in the order that they enter. Any league organiser worth his salt randomises the order when the league is full, while making sure that they're picking last. It's only fair that way.

I'm trying to think of the best way to run the draft. Ideally I'd make it smaller than 24 picks each to make it quicker, but I need to be fair rather than having a free agent scramble. I'll have to see if I can organise a chat room for it and maybe split it over a few nights so that everyone can take stock of what they have half-way through.
