Done. National unity government. Netanyahu PM for 18 months (infusing during his trial, how will that work?) then Gantz PM for 3 years.

Palestinians will lose out once again as Netanyahu cracks on with Trump's "peace plan".

Not surprised but hopefully the latest protections are right that it is still to close. Which will end with yet another election. One way though is that Ra am joins a party that split from the Arab List. The complexities of getting both to join with Likud is why the 5th election in recent times is likely.

While the Israeli state continues the prison camp of Gaza along with Egypt, and the apartheid state of the West Bank.

I think a lip service this time may not work, Hamas has vowed to flatten Israel and I do feel this is heading towards a big fight, the Israeli govt does have some right wing nutters.

And just how are Hamas going to flatten Israel? The same way i’d ‘flatten’ Mike Tyson in the ring. The only thing going for them in that respect is that the Palestinian population have no hope of a future for either themselves or their children.

The videos of the missiles raining down on the Iron Dome are morbidly fascinating, its like watching a real life computer game. The Iron Dome saves a lot of Palestinian lives as if all those missiles hit Israel a ground war in Gaza would be inevitable and that would not go well for either side but especially bad for Hamas (the Tehran backed toff leadership would be okay but the Palestinian youths they would use as cannon fodder would be quickly wiped out).

Let's be clear the problem here is the ethnic cleansing of East Jerusalem, 'territory' that is illegally occupied by Israel.

On the ground they are evicting individual families property by property, making the lives of those that remain utterly intolerable, with drones overhead, constant searches, spraying of sewage, and blasting in loud music into the small hours. Yet when does that ever get reported?

Lets be clear that is the excuse.....

This is a continuation and escalation of the proxy war with Iran.

In Palestine where they cannot afford COVID vaccines they csn afford at the last count 1000 plus rockets. With aid cut where did the money come from ?

Whose Foriegn Minister warned that this would happen not more than a few days back.

Why is it happening now. Its a near perfect storm a weak Israel government a weak USA government. At a time when Palestine and Iran are facing elections.

Lod last night for the first time since 1966 was put into a State of Emergency.

The proxy war has been going on for months a few weeks back a major escalation was avoided following a SAM attack from Syria by Iranian forces. It missed the target but landed close to a nuclear facility in Israel.

Its the civilian population on bith sides. I am sure if London Birmingham was attacked by1000 rockets we in the UK would expect a response. Or using the other way by 8000 rockets equivilant even more so. If they were fired from within civilain areas would we say no sorry carry on we cannot destroy them.

It will continue and if you check there are further ties to Iran and what is happening.

May whatever God or none you can only pray or hope for an end for peace and resolution. For all those on both sides that just want to live in peace.
