A safe place for Tory voters to apologise

Calling all Tory voters.

As the serious consequences of how this government has handled and continues to handle the covid crisis is becoming ever more apparent, and the double whammy of a No deal Brexit ever nearer, I offer this olive branch of a thread, where you can admit you were wrong and apologise to us all, without anyone calling you a ****.

Please see this as your first step to redemption, a cathartic moment if you like, where you can unburden yourself of the guilt you will at some point be feeling for playing your part in totally ******* up this great country of ours.

You may not need this thread now or even see a need for it, but at some point you will be thankful that it is here for you.

Sorry was it written anywhere that I said that it was? !

But obviously the disaster of a no deal Brexit was only an option talked up, almost defiantly boasted about by Tory politicians.

You are still at the stage of denial it seems for being an enabler.

I thought this was a thread for cathartic apology rather than whataboutery?

If any Tory voters are prepared to put their head above the parapet for this thread i expect to see an awful lot of whataboutery.

Yes absolutely, but it is a subtle strategy that needs a little bit of nous to understand and appreciate its effectiveness. Other who haven't, will just have to wait for the final outcome which is some time away as yet.

Anyway, back to apologetic Tories..............hello, hello... are you there?

Not sure there will be any apologies. I’ve seen attempts at justification but nothing else.

Which if we’re honest is what we expected.

If only if there would have been an opposition rather than a heavily supported membership faction from Islington North who wanted Brexit stopped from the beginning maybe there would be no Brexit ,no deals and none of this nasty finger pointing bollocks.

Yes Les.

Thatís right.

Blame the opposition for not being better at opposing rather than the people who have actually been pouring petrol all over the country for three years and are now flicking matches at it.

The calibre of MP's made me spoil my ballot. Personally I think anyone who voted any way at the last election should hang their heads in f*cking shame.

Did you expect anything else from Les?

Then he does his usual finger pointing shtick, woe is everything, posters are too nasty etc, when he does it himself all the time with tedious digs and dishonest posting.

I think there is plenty of blame to go around ,from people just screaming at each other making it personal where that never changes minds to politicians playing games with the people from both sides to turn this into hate politics.

It also split political parties in two where you had Tory fighting Tory and Labour fighting Labour and each other..What a shit storm.

Personally it was perfect storm with the wrong people in charge at pivotal time in history which made a lot of people do the wrong thing.
