Realistically, who do you think will go down this season?
In my opinion it could be two clubs whose names start with a B: Bournemouth and Brentford.
Sadly, Brighton may do OK. God knows who else will get dragged in - just hope it's not us and I don't think it will be. Forest might but maybe they'll get some investment now they are back in the PL?

Going to be tough next season. If forest invest a little they might be ok, but they have great momentum, and could be next seasons Brentford.
Fulham and Bournemouth will fair a lot better than Norwich and Watford did and that’s a worry. I think we need to hope the likes of Southampton and Brentford have poor starts and get involved

Leeds, Brentford and one of the prompted teams would be my guess.

I hope this shouldn't be in General Palace Discussion!

Forest - too reliant on loans to come up.
Brentford - second season syndrome and no Eriksen Last one between Southampton, Fulham and Bournemouth. Suspect it will be Bournemouth. |

Forest, Brentford, Bournemouth.
Think Everton will struggle again without a total squad overhaul and may depend if Richarlison and DCL want to stay. |

Agree with first two and for those reasons, I'm adding Bournemouth.

Southampton finished the season in awful form. They have lost their goalkeeper, Broja back at Chelsea and JWP linked with a move away.

I wonder if Leeds and Southampton have run out of luck.

- Forest will most likely struggle
- Fulham have stolen our title of yo-yo club - expect to see them retain it next season - I too think that the writing might be on the wall at Southampton. Apparently the fans have fallen out of love with Hassenhuttl and if Ward Prowse does get this rumoured move, things could turn quite toxic very quickly. |

Forest have too much to do, Brentford second season syndrome and then either Bournemouth or Southampton. Probably Forest, Bournemouth, Brentford.

Every time I watched Fulham they were dreadful....and they have the genius that is the Portuguese Pardew in charge. Bournemouth are a weaker team than when they got relegated before.
Think Leeds and Southampton will struggle. |

have a sneaky feeling about Wolves, had an absolutely shocking end to last season and felt like they were found out somewhat. Maybe biased in that we thumped them home and away but could be an outside bet ...

Hopefully Forest will have to spend a fortune just to ‘get the band back together’. If they lose their loans they’ll be starting from a significantly weaker position than they were in yesterday.

Everton are not going to do well. Their squad requires younger players and fat Frank hasn't the eye for it which is why he plumbed for the dutch flop and Dele Turdbag in January. They are skint, they aren't going to be spending big.

Lots of question marks over a few teams including ours.
Brentford - Will Eriksen stay? They were on a poor run before we played them. I suspect they'll be OK. Their underlying numbers were good in 21/22. Fulham - Have lost Carvhalo and Seri. Usually sides that score a lot of goals are better equipped to stay up than those who have solid defences in the Championship. Wolves - Massively overachieved the xG model. Moutinho is ageing and Neves wants to leave. Southampton - A lot of fan discontent with Hassenhutl. Livramento injured, Broja returning. Armstrong had a poor first season. Bournemouth - Newly promoted, their squad doesn't appear to have proven players at this level. Forest - At this point appear the weakest of the three promoted clubs. Everton - Still think their squad is terrible and they'll be heavily restricted by their previous overspending. Leeds - Survived narrowly and need to bring in quality. Palace - How will we do without Gallagher? Will we bolster our midfield accordingly? Aston Villa - Will spend big again, but had a disappointing season under Gerrard. |

My only slight concern is that for Pat this is the "difficult second season".
