Thought he looked very assured and physical last night. He says he is aggressive and quick….looks a great addition to the squad.

If we do go three at the back then I think he could be perfect for us.

Best of all, he looked good in the air. He’ll be pushing for a first 11 spot, but in the meantime a good option to bring off the bench to close out games.

The was a post match interview with Zaha , Eze and Richards . By time i got to Richards video it had been removed ?

The option of playing with three centre backs definitely looks like an option with him. Was impressed with him.

And Wardy did well as the 3rd CB as well

So we have decent options.

Think Tomkins days are numbered here, sadly; especially as he has taken over Connor Wickham's mantel as the regular sicknote

Was a big call bringing him on with next to no football he must be showing up well in training, i think the back five will be used more it can be a very attacking system if you have the right wide players.

Certainly seemed self assured and aggressive.....be good to see him with the ball at his feet to see what he can do rather than having to just defend
