What is likely to happen to him? I remember when Rachid Harkouk got caught with a trunk load of cash or something and his last game before is court case he was a little wild.

It will depend what he has done and how bad the FA consider it. I assuming the charges are because players are not allowed to bet rather than match fixing.

If he put bets on matches he didn't play in then probably a fine. If they were matches he did play in then I could see a short suspension. I do remember a Bromley player got a 12 month ban from all football activity because of betting.

Will be a definite ban....Barton and Trippier both had lengthy bans in recent years.
Imagine anywhere from 2 to 12months.

I suppose the players have to spend their money doing something but stupidity as anyone at a football club is banned from betting on football from the chairman down to the groundsmen.

It’s a very serious offence and I think he will get a longer ban than Trippier.
