One third of the January transfer window gone....
And no signings yet, at a time when we are desperate for additional bods (be it a central midfielder, Wilf replacement, striker or centre back).
Yes I know we tend to do most of our business at the end of the window, if at all, but it would be nice if for once we could get a couple over the line a.la Southampton gor a change. We are also likely to be losing more games in the interim.

Prepare yourself for the usual - 'January is a difficult window' or 'we were close on a couple but couldn't quite get them over the line'

Perhaps someone creative can come up with a song to tell Parish to get the chequebook out that could be sung at the Man U game on the 18th (next home game) if we haven’t signed anyone.

Unlikely to see anything more than a couple of loan players would be my expectation (unless someone they've got their eye on for the Summer comes up).

In truth, had VAR existed when Jordan was owner, we'd have stayed up (that 3-3 with Norwich was a f**king disgrace of blind referees - that cost us a premier league place). Nothing really to do with spending money. |

Be prepared to be underwhelmed. Relying on other clubs before we do anything is not a recipe for success

AWB would solve a lot of our problems as loan to buy. Then a midfielder and striker would be a great window.

7 transfers to Premier League clubs have been arranged this month and 3 of those are to Chelsea!

Chelsea are going to pay more on one loan fee than we're going to spend in total.

We have 3 - THREE - games before the window shuts, Chelsea, MU and Newcastle. An early signing is hardly going to impact those very much. After Newcastle we have two weeks before our next game, one of those with an open window, so plenty of time to get players in and integrated.
