Rumour: Arnaut Danjuma

According to Alex Crook, Talksport's transfer "specialist" it had been agreed that Arnaut Danjuma would sign for Everton. Over the weekend Palace tried to hijack the deal, but he turned us down, and Danjuma is now having a medical at Spurs.

I remember him being at Bournemouth, where he looked pretty useful. But I'm surprised a player in his position - I think he normally plays as a wide attacker, rather than an out and out striker - would be one of our priorities

The rumour is that he wanted away from Everton after it was said Moyes may go to Everton. But it was probably just the chaos of the manager being sacked and realising that it would probably be a bad move in his career.

Looks very likely to be joining Tottenham, having a medical tonight according to Romano.

It’s not surprising we’re after a winger/attacker in my opinion, with Wilf most likely in the summer.

Tottenham have a lot of players in that position now, Son, Richarlison, Moura, Kuleviski, Gil along with Perisic who plays out there sometimes too.

Could we maybe go in for someone like Gil if he’s not going to get the game time? Only 21, would probably have a lot of suitors though.
