The Southampton Board need to look no further than themselves for Jones and their Own failure.
How do you appoint a manager who gets sacked by Stoke a struggling Championship club, and after less than a season in charge and constantly struggling then felt he was not good enough for the Championship and gets sacked.
Yet Southampton felt he was capable of taking over a struggling Premiership club, any wonder they struggled? the appointment really made no sense.

He did take it but they tried a 'clever' routine passing it into the box to a player who had difficulty getting a shot off.

Managerial appointments are just a complete farce in football now.
