Crystal Palace boss Roy Hodgson on whether he expects the game against Nottingham Forest on Sunday to be his last:

"As far as I am concerned, Sunday will be my last game.

"I signed a contract to the end of season and was very happy to so and for being given the opportunity.

"All along I have seen it as the last game of my contract."

On whether he would consider staying as manager if offered a contract extension: "I don't know, I will wait until that day arrives and make a decision then, but at the moment I don't have to consider that."

I heard somewhere that Schlupp wasn't available last week due to some personal issues.

I am sure he has more than enough money that he doesn't need to worry and after what he has done at Palace he has enough creditability in the game that he will be offered another job somewhere and he can pick and chose what he wants to do.

It wasn’t so much what he said but how he said it.

I think he would have a good idea by now whether he would want to carry on or not and we can’t wait too long for him to contemplate it with a lot of players to potentially being sold before the 30th June FFP deadline.

Obviously Roy does not have to tell the Press what is going on . If he is to be believed though , the club have not offered him a new contract ------ yet .
