So where will he play then? Wouldnt be surprised if for first game hes out on RW considering Olise's injury....... It seems that his best position though is CAM/ Attacking mid..... were we to sell Eze in the next 12 months I'd imagine hed slot in well there too.....

Think he was playing striker a bit for them recently too. Exciting, smart signing. Only being 19 and with his pedigree as a Brazilian youth international looks like a very solid investment.

IMO Ayew plays on the right - doesn't stand in the way of JRS/Ebiowei, and his work rate will help us defensively there.

Franca on the left, ready to move to CAM if we sell Eze next summer IMO

I mean i posted this assuming we are going to sign a natural LW as a replacement for Wilf. But actually remembering our transfer windows of the last 5 seasons in reality this probably wont happen. LW it may be then.....

He’ll play from the bench against Sheff Utd I imagine. Hodgson has a tendency to ‘bed’ his players in.

Roy already has his team and tactics for SU so I don't see him starting a new kid unless he arrives and tears up the training field making Eze look like a pub player. Watching a few videos of Franca I can see that he is miles ahead of anything in our u21s, which is great as our u21s are not that bad at all.

Totally agree, I think Roy is looking for somebody versatile, who can go deep or perhaps play in the hole? Someone who’s not afraid to come inside during difficult periods or give a high press to the oppositions rear ?

If Hughes had stayed fit Lerma might not have started at Sheffield United but now he must be very likely to.

Especially with Jeff missing the start of pre-season and quite likely being used further forward due to Wilf's departure and Olise's injury.
