Aston Villa (A) Saturday 16th September 15:00
Engineering works out of Birmingham and Euston means the West Coast main Line is screwed up for this weekend. Chiltern just started selling tickets on that weekend starting at £14 each way.

Thanks for the heads up. No mention of this and avanti seem to be selling seats on direct trains to Birmingham.

What is a good site to see future rail works?

I usually prefer the Marylebone to Moor St option but there is only one an hour now on Saturdays (since the new Marylebone/Oxford trains serve Bicester outlet and have taken much of the custom).

I believe all current times showing on National Rail etc are correct despite some works. Managed to get train tickets for about £30 all in from Euston.

Assuming match tickets on sale next week?

Away Ticket ballot?
I’ve done a quiet few away & cup games over the last couple seasons, each time just as a regular member with little to no loyalty points, For this season Villa & United away are showing as ticket ballots, I’ve done United & City away previously and didn’t see anything about a ballot, Does anyone know why they are doing ballots for these? And what are the chances of me being successful in the ballot? I’ve got my gold membership for this year, was hoping to go Villa in a couple weeks

Not sure about the ballot but you should have no problem getting a Villa ticket with a membership.

My guess is that they’re just trying to get a few people to use their ballots for games that won’t need it. You’ll have no issue getting a ticket for Villa with a membership, as others have said. Ballot will likely only be needed for Brighton, Fulham, Bournemouth and Luton from this point forward.

On sale next week for this surely?

It’s now saying both ballots sold out, hopefully these tickets are allocated out, then more on sale, surely we haven’t taken are full villa allocation already via the ballot…

For context: last season’s Fulham away ballot kept back about 50 or so tickets. Can’t see there being many more than that available in this ballot (with the ballot already being sold out, my guess is they’ve essentially just waved through a small number of midlands’ based fans or something) - and we’ll surely take the full 3000 for this match.

Members will have no problem for this match so don’t fret! Imagine it’ll be a sell out but only in the days leading up to the game

Saturday looks better than it did initially which is great. They've got a blockade on the Sunday for definite now though.

I applied for the ballot,

Didn’t saying anything about price, but £30 for every adult away game
Didn’t mention anything about the phases & points needed

I’m hoping once they go on sale I can just purchase a ticket that way & it won’t make me wait for ballot results? Does anyone know?
